3 bet looks loose to me. Id call down after the flop raise in 05/1 game. he could very often be rushing with 2 pair

kerowo is a nit. plz 3bet the flop.

waiting and popping a safe turn is also reasonable, though i usually just 3bet against an unknown.

Did I miss the memo that a C/R was the new [insert super weak action here]? All you 3-bangers are giving the c/r no weight at all?

With the PFR raisor on my left there isn't much I'm C/R here because I don't want people to fold when I have a hand. But that is the point, I'M not the one doing the C/Ring, an unknown is who has probably watched a lot of TV and thinks making this play with a strong hand will win him more monies.

Two pair, frush draw, set, OE straight draw (if there is one, I don't remember) I'm donking this flop because I want to trap everyone for when CO raises it. I'm not seeing a lot of C/R bluffs on these kinds of flops, is it getting popular?

how did you completely eliminate AQ, AJ, etc. from villain's range?

anyway, my point is that we're ahead most of the time, and just calling is a .5-1 SB mistake.

I didn't.

I'm trying to understand why a c/r is considered weak on this flop and I haven't heard a reason for that yet.

it isn't that the c/r is weak; it's that our hand is quite strong.

I definatly 3-bet BBs raise because I feel like he could do this with lots of hands we beat like 8x and 5x, some PPs and A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]x[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I just love quoting myself.

Thanks a ton for the discussion people, it's great to read all the various opinions on this. I didn't realize that my 3 bet on flop would be part of the controversy, but now see how there can be differing opinions on this. It did start registering once villain kept betting into me on turn, where i decided to call it down thinking i may have 3 bet into two pair or a set, which is why I posted this hand. For those interested here is the result in white below.
