If any of the NL guys wants to right a good complete answer to this question, I'll and it to the sticky. It seems like this comes up every week.

No, just say what limits of NL HU are beatable and which probably aren't if any.

This is really one of those "how long is a piece of string questions".

The real question is not "is it beatable" but rather "can I(whoever you are) beat it ?" and the answer is - only you can really find out/answer that question.

my point is, should i wait till Im rolled for 200NL? (got little over 4k now) or just start playing 100NL hu. Much difference in HU opponents? 200NL is like 2/3 the rake right?

What are your bankroll requirements and what are you beating your current game for?

i dunno i feel pretty good playing with 30bi. And im beating 100NL for like little over 5BB/100 over 30k hands. But had some sick tilt sessions..

Thats one thing i hesitate to start playing HU alot, it tilts me so fast. no thing tilts me faster then hit and runners :S . I guess you guys tag those guys?
but maybe u need 40bi to play hu (more variance).

I don't tag them, I don't really care to be honest.

HU is a lesson in patience that is for sure. Just have the discipline to quit when tilted even if that is 100 hands into a session.

I checked my recent PT stats, and the summary tab says that over 60k hands the players in my database are losing at a clip of 2.55 PTBB/100. So $5.10/100 hands or so. I've lost all my other databases, so if someone could say what that number is for them in a 6-max setting, you'd have a better idea about the rake differences.
