Default 10NL: flop crappy straight, std line?

villain 42/4/4 over ~55 hands. felt i was basically playing for stacks and felt like my hand is rarely good here...

If I'm folding the turn, I'm folding the flop.

His 4 for aggression does suggest he could be doing this as a semi bluff.
But there are plenty of cards that would help any of villains holdings, and I can't think of any that would improve ours. And it looks like villain want's to make it expensive for us the whole way.

I fold at the flop raise - and look for a better spot.

i wanted to see if he was going to bet at the turn again, since he would probably give up if he was on a move, or have some sort of draw

I think the optimal line here is to call the raise and b/f a non diamond turn

He's likely playing two pair and baby flushes the same way here so b/f turn is the best way I can see to play this.
