Re: 400nl - turned top2 on flush board v TAG
call turn, check river.
you don't have enough to fold him, he will time down and call because it's only half pot. |

Re: 400nl - turned top2 on flush board v TAG
turn is close between all 3 options but I dont mind the call. I check river, woulda liked a push if you had about 300.

calling turn on 4 outs then? [/ QUOTE ] no, i call turn because i expect to be ahead enough of the time. when i check behind the river i expect to win reasonably often. however, if we have more chips i think bluffshoving the river would be MORE +ev, because many of the hands that do beat us would have to fold and i think we get called very rarely if we have a PSB and he checks. just because one option is potentially more profitable than another doesn't mean they can't both be profitable, and just because you call one street for value doesn't mean you can't bet the next as a bluff. |

Re: 400nl - turned top2 on flush board v TAG
i think turn is quite close, but i lean towards fold. his range is pretty narrow and somewhat polarized (Axclubs or like k10/kjc, might not necessarily play any of these fast on flop). sometimes tags see this turn with a hand like Q10x one club and try to put you off your hand. but this is the most optimistic scenario.
i like a push on this river as played |
