NL100: Good spot for turn CR bluff?
Villian is 30/17/1.4 over a small sample. Seems somewhat decent.
I thought this was a good spot to C/R turn. I think he calls the flop and bets the turn when checked to with a wide range of hands. Is this a good spot for a stone cold bluff? What about betsizing? Re: NL100: Good spot for turn CR bluff?
ehh...not really i dont think. i think its okay sometimes, i'd prefer having something like a draw or whatever (something that can improve a little better). i'm not sure if he's folding his 5x/66/etc though. if he's a tag though, i think alot of his range is folding the turn (most tags will check turn with 5x/66). just i'm not sure if we know if he's a tag or not given stats.

Yeah I hate bluffing here - if you had j6 id be alot more up for it, but I cant think what hand wouldnt just lead out on flop and turn that wanted a call. Do you c/r here with over pairs?
Only hand I think villian can put you on that does this is a deuce, or occassionally an overpair. |

Re: NL100: Good spot for turn CR bluff?
In these situations, where I raise from the SB and get called, I suspect that I will be floated a lot, I know I do it myself.
If I think he will often bet the turn I C/R with an overpair here a lot. NLH:TAP says to C/R the turn with good hands as well as bluffs to keep position players honest. This is also a spot in which I'm unlikely to bluff. Definately not standard, but I think I read something here about finding spots to bluff where a bluff is unlikely... |
