Re: super ssnl question with answers that might differ a lot?
[ QUOTE ]
It means that he shoves sets, straights, 12+ out draws and folds bluffs, like that with AA ? [/ QUOTE ] so call the shove? |

Re: super ssnl question with answers that might differ a lot?
Hi luego,
I think call flop, raise blank turn (non-diamond 9+) for a free showdown is good vs. many players (those who will be a little fearful of getting out of line on the turn, as opposed to the flop). On a bad turn card I think you just fold; if the board pairs, you have a somewhat tough decision facing a bet, but I'd usually call and then lean toward folding sometimes to a strong river bet. |

if hes a guy who donks a lot, you're probably in much better shape on the flop than you think.
I'd probably be willing to call at least 2 streets here. Raising is bad obv. |

Re: super ssnl question with answers that might differ a lot?
this isn't an SSNL question when you consider you are narrowing your range to 'a pair' when you pull this move. a flush draw raises, air raises, sets raise, two pair raises, etc.
this is also a spot where one wonders if it is correct to call three barrels on two blank turns (say nine ten or something similar). probably not. something about this spot isn't adding up - either players should call more or raise more. |

Re: super ssnl question with answers that might differ a lot?
Hmm i'm learning something new. I usually raise flop 100% here to protect our hand since opponent could be donking into alot of draws.
Maybe that's a leak for me? I don't know.. But then again, why aren't we raising here since his range could also include draws and not just sets/2pairs/straights. Or is it because if we assume villain can shove with his whole range here (draws, sets, the nuts, pair+fd, etcc) have a decent equity against AA thus we should wait to raise a blank turn instead? |

Re: super ssnl question with answers that might differ a lot?
PF raise size that got called really matters here as to what he might have. Given the drawing flop and his bet, I probably prefer a raise over call.
