Re: $400NL on Stars...tough river spot
[ QUOTE ]
people at 2/4 fold to c-bets like 97.294% of the time [/ QUOTE ] if this is directed at me I want to clarify and say that I'm all for the cbet, just wondering about checking the turn. If its not then I'm sorry. |

Re: $400NL on Stars...tough river spot
it's for renton
I'm trying to see if there's any way I can find a real number in PT since 97.294% might be off a little... anyone know where that might be? |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] My initial instinct was check turn with the way we got there. Does anyone think this line has merit? [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I like checking the turn and calling/value betting the river. Bad line? [/ QUOTE ] very bad imo. the only reason to check the turn is cause if you bet you cant really call an ai, not the case here. build this pot. [/ QUOTE ] As played, it seems like a pretty close call on the river, no? Are we really that thrilled about getting it all in with TP9K? EDIT: Nevermind, I somehow missed that he's a 38/8. Disregard my other post. |

Re: $400NL on Stars...tough river spot
A couple of reasons to answer some posts. Going with soah, I cbet this because one, a good amount of time (90% plus with this flop) I just take this down. Donk, yes, this is a pretty standard bet, with TT might bet a bit more with a flush draw out there, maybe pot. Second, even if I get called, I get a free turn card most of the time, which I was going to take before the Q came. Now when the turn brings me top pair, I decided that I might have a chance to just take it down right there as he could have A-rag or still a draw of some sorts so I put out another bet.
