Default WSOP 2007 Event 28, last HU hand

Hello,

I just watched the last hand of event 28: Beth Shak vs Shenkar Pillai.

Stacks are about the same, Pillai covers a bit.
I'm not sure, but this may also be the first hand of the HU (it's the only HU hand on youtube video anyhow, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ji1tRL__XFc)
Blinds 40K/80K, Pillai on btn

Pillai raises to 180k with Ad8d
Shak thinks for a while and repops to 735k with Kd8s
Pillai tanks and finally calls 555k

Now they both have 1.5m (Pot size).
Flop comes Tc8h3h. Shak thinks for a few seconds and then says she's AI.
Now Pillai tanks and finally calls to take 1st.

How did Pillai make this call? I didn't see much play of Shak at this FT. The last hand that she played was when she busted Hellmuth when she called his raise in the BB with KQs and shoved on a QTx flop, He called with AT and busted.

It's only pot sized bet and he has 2nd pair. Beth may be pushing any flop.

I'm aware of that, but isn't the 3bet PF puts her on a tighter range?
I know AK,AQ is there and probably 77, but JJ-AA play the same. And also 99. And if he thinks he's good here, than we must put AT to her 3bet range also. 88,TT probably checks but who knows.

This is HU, so the 3-bet puts her on no rangem. If anything, it makes it likely she missed the flop with high cards. If he calls the 3-bet, he generally has to call on the flop.
