Oh I see. They told me I could, but that I would not ever be able to get a new and different user ID if I ever wanted to come back. Thats what I want. Any ideas on how to get around that problem?

My stats from the first two years playing drunk w no clue are bad, and my user name is boring was just made on an impulse. Just wanted to try a new ID I guess.

I hear ya. But its more of a pride thing I guess. lol. Well, it still seems impossible.

From stars:
Hello XXXXX,

We hope that you will reconsider your decision to play elsewhere and we
wish you all the best at which ever card room you choose to play at.

the negatives in this outweigh the positives because if people think you suck then that can be goot for you. if you really care about 'your' stats then just filter the old ones out.

do you really want to give up the ability of playing at stars because of the reasons you gave or is there another reason?

I think that as long as people keep detailed statistics on people via pokertracker that they would never be able to have access to in a live game, then people should be able to change accounts regularly to defeat that. As long as a person maintains just one account at a time to prevent multi-accounting or collusion, I don't see anything unethical.
