Default JcAh by Ballad126

Villain is 30/12/0.6

Am I totally insane for trying to get more value on the river here?

I thought he would have 77 88 99 TT, but I should probably think a player with such high VPIP and low AF could have a range full of queens or even a 3, right?

This is the easiest river check in the world, right?

I tend to c-bet this flop ALOT.
I doubt how much he calls with 77 88 99 TT on river. Prolly just check it. If you had checked turn, i think a bet at river would've been good.

yes its a value bet, yes bet the flop. villain is too weak passive to be encouraging bluffs.

I generally don't like c-betting on low paired flops

But considering his coldcalling range I guess it's probably not a bad idea

AJ is probably ahead of him at least 60% of the time

I definitely like betting on the queen as played, though

River bet was utterly retarded

Betting the turn lulled you into thinking that you were ahead on the river, hence the "valuebet" mirage you had. Ace-high on the turn with opponent checking flop/turn does NOT mean you're ahead.... in fact you're probably behind, with opponent holding a medicore hand that's better than yours.

At that point just check the turn and on river if he checks again, bet and fold to any reraise.
