Default NL400 Double Stack against Maniac Fish who has me covered.

This first hand here is for history. Villain is a fish maniac playing 43/20. He's over betting pots and calling any reraises out of positions.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $2/$4 Blinds - 9 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $187.50
BB: $83.50
UTG: $395.10
UTG+1: $105.80
MP1: $480.60
Hero (MP2): $897.40
MP3: $87.30
CO: $522.30
BTN: $393.50

Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (9 Players)
2 folds, MP1 calls $4.00, <font color="red">Hero raises to $18.00</font>, 4 folds, BB calls $14.00, MP1 calls $14.00

Flop: ($56) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players)
BB checks, MP1 checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $39.00</font>, BB folds, <font color="red">MP1 raises all-in to $462.60</font>, Hero folds
Uncalled bet of $423.60 returned to MP1

Pot Size: $134.00 ($3 Rake)

Same Villain, pretty much same spot only I have a better kicker, but the stacks are now doubled.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $2/$4 Blinds - 7 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $710.40
Hero (BB): $840.40
UTG: $551.30
UTG+1: $393.50
MP: $185.50
CO: $363.10
BTN: $99.80

Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (7 Players)
UTG calls $4.00, 2 folds, <font color="red">CO raises to $18.00</font>, BTN folds, <font color="red">SB raises to $62.00</font>, Hero calls $58.00, 2 folds

Flop: ($146) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $90.00</font>, <font color="red">SB raises all-in to $648.40</font>, Hero ?

I have about 560 left...

Preflop, I usually reraise here but he's been calling anything to see the flop so I just wanted to spike my A or K and then prepare to commit. But I didn't know he'd check raise me like this. The Q scares me a lot.

if he's doing this a lot then you've gotta look him up

if he's doing it a lot and you don't want to look him up then don't bet the flop

oh wait, I glossed over pf in the second one. that's terrible, unless your only reason for the coldcall is because you expect to get paid off huge most of the time just by flopping a pair

Hand 1, insta fold. You are more often way behind, and why stack off with TPGK against someone this bad? You clearly state villain has been calling a lot of raises out of position. What range is he calling PF ranges with when it goes to showdown?

Hand 2, he could be doing this with a heart draw or a worse ace. You stated you wanted to spike your A or K. This is the situation you were looking for against your laggy opponent. I think hand 2 is a call. If you put him on aces or queens you can fold this, but given his image that is not the case.

as played you must call #2 even though you will see a better hand sometime. I think hell shove dumb ace hands as well as any draw, sets arent that likely.

Yove seen it once, shame on him...now, i think you have to call. You cant wait for a better spot, if he has you, i guarantee he does this again when he doesnt.

I really don't understand what we expect him to show up with that doesn't beat AK? Seems like a bad spot to call off 2 stacks here. Also, I hate preflop.
