Default PLO200: AK52 on T855ds board

PLO200, 5-handed.

Hero is BTN with $231 and A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

SB is on my buddy list for being 68/40/1.17 and has $212.
UTG is 68/23, hence my marginal preflop call (maybe bad).

UTG raises to $7, CO folds, Hero calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop 10[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($28)

Checked around.

Turn 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($28)

SB pots $28, BB calls, Hero pots $140 and calls a shove...?

Average/poor hand to defend button with. You're 50/50 to win against a random 4 cards. Rest of the hand is standard.

i think you're a favorite against two flushdraws, but i don't see them pushing over this raise unless they have a full house

How about hero raises a bit smaller and folds to a shove?

Thanks for your comments.

I was thinking SB may not be able to fold trips.

And if I raise smaller than half the deck are scare cards and those guys will chase and I'm next to pot committed anyway.

That was my thinking, good or bad.

If you raise to say $70 I can't imagine anyone's going to be chasing flushes on a paired board. A small raise looks very strong. If anyone comes over the top you're probably drawing very thin and can fold. In any case you get to see a cheaper showdown unless you're definitely beat.

I don't like raising intending to fold to a shove. 5T, 88, TT are unlikely considering the preflop action, I think you can put one of them on 5xxx and the other on a bad draw most of the time.

Raise/call shove > call >> raise fold for me.

Preflop whatever, you should make this call if he plays particularly badly postflop not just because he is 68/23 pre.
