WTF? He had 2 outs to improve on the flop, you had none -- and you're complaining you lost?????

Yes, you sucked out on the flop, but he "re-sucked" as we say, and the best hand won in the end.

That is the DUMBEST expression I ever hear when concerning poker. Speak for yourself, not "we". If the best hand always won in the end, why play? It's call Highcard. You're an idiot.

Wow private joker can you be any more condescending? Just because I play 100NL you don't think I know 22 is a huge underdog to QQ and that Im a 4 to 1 dog? It was an unraised pot, using your logic i guess I will just fold my quads next time because someone might have an overpair and hit runner runner and suckout on me. Chances of that happening are 1000-1. If I called 4 small bets on the flop heads up then maybe I could understand your reasoning but I was in the blinds in an unraised pot. Thanks for your input though.

Op, that's exactly what you should have done, I know it's only one more 'big' bet but try to be less pot committed next time. We all learn more through this sort of discussion, but you have to be open-minded.

The problem is there just isn't anything to comment on. No one misplayed their hands. It's standard.

As far as the extreme improbability of it all, nothing in poker is really that improbable. There are only 52 cards and everything that can be, will be. Don't have to play very long before you've seen it all. If every perfect-perfect beat got posted it would have a massive forum all its own.

True, high limit players do post their beats, but they are also boring.

I think what private joker is trying to say is that if you flopped quads with queens in an unraised pot you'd be almost certain to win, as kings and aces are very unlikely to be against you.

I agree with this analysis. Whereas with a pair of twos any number of hands could beat you.
