I dont know if anyone has read freakonomics, but it was quite a good read.. These guys are analyzing what it takes to be a winning player but whatever. You can send 10k hands or more to help with their project and your database will be analyzed for leaks. Dunno whos going to analyze them tho. Anyone did this? im def gonna send 10k hands lol. also dunnow where to post this so feel free to move this thread around.

The conclusion of his research is that there were too many winning players that sent in hands, so he was unable to do his research, which was to figure out how many are winners vs. losers in online poker. The hand history analysis was lame, if I remember.

5. Are you still accepting hand histories?
Yes. We are still accepting hand histories. Unfortunately, we no longer are offering rewards to people who submit to the Pokernomics Project. Anyone who submitted a database after March 8th, 2006 will not be eligible for a free analysis.

Things like "your winrate is best between 8-10 pm, so play more at those hours." I did appreciate the T-shirt and signed book. I remember when the project was first announced, Ed Miller voiced skepticism that the project would turn up anything interesting. The grad student who was collecting data said, "no, no, Levitt is a genius econometrist, give him a chance." Unfortunately, it appears that Ed was right.
