Generally, when an experienced player invokes IWTSTH just for info, I ask to see all future hands. Last time I did that, the dealer informed me that he would need to call a floor for me to see any future hands. Seemed reasonable to me, and I stopped.

but the IWTSTH tilted the crap out of me.

It's very nice that you just showed everyone how to tilt you. I might call IWTSTH just for that reason now.

Yes, this rule is common in many places. Anyone dealt into the hand can ask to see hands at showdown.

Don't take it so personal and get over it.

If the Floor basically does nothing then I will be asking to see the a**hole's cards on a regular basis just to get under his skin.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm sure the rest of the table appreciates that.

So now that you're back, are you going to visit every frigging thread, tell us that you've been gone, and note that you've seen it all before?

[/ QUOTE ]

Nope, I figure the two or three where I've done this now should suffice.

Seriously, I know that jaded ennui isn't the most charming personal trait, but I really do get sidetracked from enjoying all the great content on this forum when it seems like we spend every fifth thread arguing about the same repetitive tipping and IWTSTH issues. I mean, yeah, they're newbie users who don't know this has been discussed 57,932,920 times, but there's gotta be a better way to redirect them. Dontcha think?

Rick: Awesome, glad to have you aboard.

Rottersod: Glad you enjoyed it, I wrote part of that with a smirk on my face, but also trying to be as factual as possible.

God, how did you get your first 5000 posts?

[/ QUOTE ]

By ranting about how repetitive IWTSTH is, duh.
