Re: K4s
On the flop with five other players, I check and see what happens.
As played, I bet both the turn and river like you did. |

Re: K4s
Good play. I like to bet into a field of limpers with top pair. Mission was accomplished. Folded the junk and got the draws to call. I'd fold to a raise on any street except river as long as club doesn't fall. I sometimes check river to try and induce bluff from a missed draw.

Re: K4s
I check and see too. The question is how many bets / players will you be willing to call when it comes back to you.
I will call one bet but not two and the fewer players coming along the better. |

Re: K4s
This may be my leak. If I have top pair like this hand, in almost all cases I lead out.
Why would you check this hand with TP and lots of limpers. |

If you lead out and get raised, then you're somewhat in a tough spot since they could have a flush draw or something you beat and it'll cost you an extra SB since you're often priced in to see the turn, when you'll be in another tough spot. However, if you check and there is a bet and a raise, you can get away cheaply. |

Re: K4s
I'd play the same way on flop + turn, call a single raise on the flop because of the BFD (else I'd fold) and c/f the turn unless the flush draw or another king or 4 comes, check the river vs LAG, bet vs LP
