Well this isn't one of Marty's best videos, but he does have some great stuff. One thing about Full Tilt though is that the outdraws are completely outrageous there, so I can't really blame him here although on that board but I would have called I think. I have watched a lot of his videos and..... He IS training new players to the game to be at least competent - whether anybody here realizes it or not.
I don't even think this is about poker anymore - just angry, vindictive, or jealous???? I thought 2+2 was going to be a lot more valuable than this... guess i will have to find more intellectual comments in another string. (I have heard they are on this site somewhere!) What is up with you people here?

Explain how the following logic is teaching anyone to be competent. 1. I turned a straight. 2. The guy who is a maniac, and who bluffs a lot, goes all-in. 3. The only possible hand I'm behind is AQ, which I don't think he has since he didn't raise preflop. ... ... 4. I fold. So competent = folding because someone could have outs? Are you serious? Do you need someone to show you mathematically or something why folding when you have the best hand is bad poker? I mean, sorry if you know the guy in real life or something, but be reasonable. His thought process in the first video is absolutely ludicrous.
