Default AQ - Have I made any mistakes here

OK, should i get this in on the turn? I'm unsure how to bet here as only a queen calls me. Should I just shove and hope JQ or KQ is out there or should I try and get money from weak hands?

This is fine. If deeper, bet more on the turn due to the spades. Considering you stack, shoving isnt necessary. If he has a queen he has 3 outs and is doubling you up here, and you want A,6, 77-99 to call. You played it well, hope it was not vs QJ.

First, I might bet just a tad less on the flop, whatever your standard flop bet is should be fine, but that's nit picking.

More important, I disagree gs3, I shove the turn, you've got a pot sized bet left and you're getting in on any river, right?

If he's got trips or a boat he's not going anywhere on the turn or river so it doesn't matter when we push.

If he's got a FD, he may get it on the turn but will only get it in on the river when he hits. So we want to push the turn.

If he's got 77-JJ the Q on the turn has often emboldened him and he'll be willing to get in 1000 more than half the time he's willing to get in 400. Also, he may fold a PP if a scare card hits on the river (say an A).

I think on Full Tilt the pot size bet is more normal then on stars as FT has a bet pot button.
