Im in the bb with Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] , sb checks ($450) I check ($1000).

Flop Is

assuming hand 1 you mean $1000 behind, and if you limped then I'd just fold, why push? Better spots.

hand 2: again, better spots, he's pushing for ~380-400 into 100$ and you have by no means an unbeatable hand.

So fold+fold.

errr

Hand 1 I'm not sure about the limp but as played this is an standard shove I think, nh.

Hand 2 I don't see any move besides call. This is a draw or some random trash way too often. Short stacks also suck at poker (in general).

Very constructive post.

I don't see any problem folding AK there, and just because he has a short stack doesn't mean he's shoving 4x the pot with nothing.

1)"Villian in the hand has raised ever hand pre for 3 orbits" + hero is dealt AK suited = nuts. How in the hell do u find a fold in hand 1? Seriously? haha.

2) His open push on the turn is not a set. Its at best 2-pair and a smaller 2-pair than Q4. I dont see him open pushing with top-2 here.

both so standard.

Hand 1 is totally fine. Hand 2 I would raise more on the flop, and call the turn. It's closer than hand 1, but I'd say you are ahead here more often than not esp. against a guy playing with 50bb's in front and open limping the SB.
