1/2 NL, an \"okay\" played hand ...
1/2 NL, table dynamics have been nuts, changing a lot as the looser players left and new tighter guys came in. Probably should've left the table about 20 minutes before this hand, but that's another discussion.
Anyway, the UTG here is an old gentlemen who is very passive who I've seen play trips the same as second pair. Guy two to my right (MP) hasn't been at the table too long, but I'd describe him as a TAG. We only have one hand that we even played in the same pot together where I was in the CO/BTN and I raised to $15 preflop after there were 4 limpers ahead of me and all folded. I have a very tight image, I had folded for three straight orbits and then raised two hands in a row only to get the blinds. UTG: ~$100 MP: covers ME: ~$80 On to the hand: UTG limps, UTG+1 limps, MP makes it $11 to go, I call on button with Ad Qs, UTG calls, UTG+1 folds. Flop: As 8s 7h UTG checks, MP bets $11, I call, UTG folds Turn: Js MP checks, I bet $25, MP shoves, I have $32 behind and call I think I played this wrong on one or two streets here. |

with 40 bbs I think you need to try and get this in on the flop, I'd raise to 50 on flop.

Re: 1/2 NL, an \"okay\" played hand ...
Is the buyin limited to $100 or something?
I think this short you might just want to shove PF or flop. |

Agreed, either fold or push, the calling is what set you up.
