Re: Responding to Cbets - 100nl
I usually call, most players donīt fire 2 barrells all that often. Also, if a flushcard hits it should at least slow him down, i.e. stopping him from firing again. If he bets again I will fold on the turn.

Re: Responding to Cbets - 100nl

[ QUOTE ] Leading is the best option. [/ QUOTE ] disagree because villain is more than capable of raising us off or floating [/ QUOTE ] Leading through the BB here is a pretty strong move. It looks like you're trying to trap the BB in between, puts pressure on the BB to fold (becuase of pfr left to act), and thus puts pressure on the initial raiser to fold as well when he misses the flop. I believe that without a history between the two of you, most raisers will just fold in this spot if you lead BB folds and they miss. However, it's still a pretty wet board. If either one calls your bet, you're now oop on the turn in a growing pot with a marginal hand that still migth be best. There is no right answer on how to play these spots. The right answer is that initially calling the raise is unprofitable purely for set value, and thus you better have a plan to pick up more pots (or a really loose bad BB waiting to call too). When and how to do that depends on his tendencies and your history. Donk some flop, randomly c/r as well. Check call flop and then bet, ck fold or ck call some turns. Mix things up. Observe how often he double barrels. |

Re: Responding to Cbets - 100nl
c/call w/ add'l aggression on river, c/r, lead out... all viable options, no? Someone here said that they usually lead out. Since your pair is low, in this particular situation, lead out for take down is best. C/r next, but you're risking more for same initial pot... repping the TP or overp?. Basically, ANY card on turn makes you unsure where you're at and you're outta position, so trying to take down here is ok.
