remote desktop to another user acct on the same pc?

windows fast user switching is slow.

also, i often want to work in my main user acct while at the same time just watching something running in another user acct.

any idea how to stay logged into my main user account while viewing the desktop of another user account in a window?

I don't think it is possible in a non-server version of Windows.

I think you could do it with Vista by hacking the terminal services DLL... i read something about that in a magazine, and the same might be possible in XP

some hacking/tweaking would have to take place because I know non-server OS's will kick the one user off when the other logs on through ts
