Re: Ozzy87 busted for speeding
well its just funny, lots of ppl in north america seem to think that pakistani's/afghans/iranians are Arabs. The moral is you can be both dark skinned, and muslim, and not be an arab! fascinating stuff.

Re: Ozzy87 busted for speeding
you realize, that to this police officer, the difference between being arab and pakistani is irrelevant?
to the average american populace, "middle eastern origin muslim" has been labelled arab. I'm actually surprised he got off so easy as the situation is so suspicious; his background must be squeaky clean. |

Re: Ozzy87 busted for speeding
I wonder how much more difficult it would have been if he didn't have a 200K win on the books. Also funny that they needed to contact the FBI to do a google search.
Anyway, tough beat Oz, don't let it get you down. |

Re: Ozzy87 busted for speeding
bad poster -
(1) change alias to "good poster" (2) post more (3) profit? Thank you GoldenIP. I would consider posting more, but, this is a mostly poker forum and I suck at poker. Before anyone else responds, I really, really suck at poker, I literally invented the UIGEA to cover my losses (at least on Party). However, I wanted to respond to this thread because: 1. I am a US Citizen (please don't hold that against me) 2. I am a lawyer (No choice...that one is held against me); and 3. This is an interesting thread about individual liberties. From the descriptions above, I personally, (not as an attorney, I am not licensed in Arizona, etc. etc.) think Ozzy handled himself well. Had he refused any search, test, etc., I personally think that his personal liberties would have gone out the window and we would not have read about them in an Arizona newspaper. But that's just me. By they way, I am posting in blue, cause I have not figured out how to post with quotes, but I will get there, with advice. TIA... |
