So since you got all the money in and u say u played it bad, im guessing he flopped a flush? [/ QUOTE ] that's not helpful at all. his min-raise on the flop is awkward, so you might want to go ahead and make it 3 bets on the flop. the way you played isn't awful tho, either. if you know he will bet on the turn then i'd go ahead and see a turn and crai on a non-diamond, like you did. looks fine. |

Re: Flopped set in $5.50
So noone would push the flop after the mini-raise?

Re: Flopped set in $5.50
I don't think this was played fine at all, once he min-raises the flop you should have shoved. Were you that scared of a flush, or were you trapping?? I'd have led the turn as well.

Re: Flopped set in $5.50
read above post - i said if he thinks he can get a crai on a non-diamond turn it's a good play, if not, make it 3 bets on the flop.

Re: Flopped set in $5.50
By your turn raise you are abviously not giving him credit for a flopped flush and rightly so with your outs to a boat anyway. I think this is a mandatory big reraise on the flop charging him for his flush draw.

Re: Flopped set in $5.50
Oh well,
I still like to pot the turn as he will get it all in with top pair and a decent diamond. I see no need to c/r this turn as I don't really want to be all-in vs a flush draw even with as set. Please don't be results orientated, the way you structured the post seems that you may be as earlier posters pointed out. What's important is the way you approached the hand against what his typical range of hands would be I felt you got good value out of the situatio. Welcome to the STTF keep posting hands and GL |
