I'd seriously raise more PF - like to $15 at least.

Yea, after I made the raise I kicked myself mentally for not bumping it up to like $16. Loose tight nit = limping into 60-80% of pots, calling any raise that is < 20X bb, then proceeding to check fold on flops, until they hit bottom pair to which some will call all the way down to the river. Basically stacking off with TP WK thinking it's good. Most of the time they'll pay you off, til that [censored] kicker rivers your ass.

And the reason I bet the turn is that I figured his retard expression on the flop as somewhat weakness and wanted to evaluate/define once more (stupid of me).

As the hand turned out: after his c/r I tank and count to see how many chips I have left, ~110. As I'm counting he's eagerly stacking his chips and moving them towards the middle, and almost mumbled "call". I stared at him for 10 seconds, laughed to myself, and folded. Jesus, these people are retarded/horrible....

This is the classic play from someone who has just watched Rounders in preparation to play real poker. Check behind to Mike McDermot on the turn and look to call most reasonable river bets.

Good fold.

people at 1/2 no limit have no ability to check/raise bluff

this is such an easy fold...thanks for wasting my time
ok but really, there's no reason to stack off here with an overpair without enough equity to make it worth the crying call

I realized that everyone at the table was incapable of making that play with a draw, and only bet heavy with a heavy made hand. I hate to fold this but it seemed like the only option given the ridiculously tight nitty play.

Thanks for the advice!
