Quick $100 NL Questions
I have played $100NL the last three nights about 30 minutes each night. I have been playing super tight raising only JJ+ 3betting AA KK and limping into cheap flops with SC's and dumping the hand when i do hit. It am on a good upswing and I know its just a lucky side of variance, but is this a winning strategy? Generally I have been playing $25NL on stars, but I had $22 left on another site and turned it into $100 at $25NL and then decided to play $100 and now its at 450.
The tables are a little slow and boring but if i can win with such a simple strategy in the long run mabye $100 FR is for me. |

Re: Quick $100 NL Questions
once the good regs get to know you, your nitty style is no good with them but the good thing about 100nl is there are always plenty of donks to call your obvious big pp 3 bets wtih total garbage.

Re: Quick $100 NL Questions
I'd post PT stats but unfortunately i dont' have any. I don't have dogwatcher to record the hands. I would say i'm probably playing 17/5/2 give or take a little.

Re: Quick $100 NL Questions
Hey resboard, I've been playing 100NL on Bodog for 8 months or so and I would thing your strategy is a winning one. I doubt that it is the best one (most +EV) but while you work on your game I think it would be fine to stick to.
PM me if you want to talk more in detail about some of the regulars. I have not played much in the last couple months because I graduated college, moved, and started new job but I am starting to play more now. |
