NL25: do I have to lay this hand down?
Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)
SB: $52.55 BB: $25.90 UTG: $41.10 CO: $23.45 Hero (BTN): $61.40 Preflop: Hero is dealt 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 Players) UTG calls $0.25, CO folds, Hero raises to $1.10, SB calls $1.00, BB calls $0.85, UTG calls $0.85 Flop: ($4.40) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 Players) SB bets $4.40, BB folds, UTG calls $4.40, Hero calls $4.40 Turn: ($17.60) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players) SB bets $9.00, UTG calls $9.00, Hero?? SB was solid tight aggressive, 17/14/4 over 100 hands. UTG was something like 24/11/1.7 over 300 hands. I was thinking hard, whether the "I have a set, so I push" rule was correct here, there might be straights, straight- & flushdraws or even bigger sets out there... Anybody reraising that flop? Anybody not calling that turn? |

Re: NL25: do I have to lay this hand down?
I'm raising the flop and getting it all in on the turn.

Re: NL25: do I have to lay this hand down?
There are so many obvious draws on the flop, raise it to $16.
As played, shove the turn. |

Re: NL25: do I have to lay this hand down?
Does the fact that we're all pretty deep stacked change things to either direction?

Re: NL25: do I have to lay this hand down?
Is SB really betting half the pot with a straight when there's a flush draw out there? UTG NOT raising the flop or turn with a straight?
If somebody justed spiked a set of aces tough luck, I'm getting it in like NOW! |

Does the fact that we're all pretty deep stacked change things to either direction? [/ QUOTE ] Yes, you can't throw this away, so if he flopped a straight it's just a cooler. I don't mind picking this up here. If he decides he has some sort of made hand I want to stack off here. I don't want him to draw and give him implied odds. I don't think I can throw this away even if a spade, 4, 8 or 9 comes (but that's me). I like a big raise on flop (say to $18, giving him 2-1). Make those drawing hands pay/fold. You are left with a $40.40 pot and $33.45 effective stacks on the turn, so the rest goes in regardless. |

Re: NL25: do I have to lay this hand down?
raising the flop makes for an easy shove on the turn.
