Also I have a huuuuge gripe with PokerEV. It doesn't take into account the fact that in hands two and three above (for example), villains were getting it in anyway, whether they sucked out or not. This doesn't balance out, as we don't make anywhere near the number of bad calldowns that our opponents do. So all in all we run worse than PokerEV tells us.

anybody knows sealollka ? at 100NL party poker. Sometimes 200NL. A huge fish but somehow hes playing that limit as long as im at party (about 6 months).

pushes QT on QJ7 flop against 77, pushes 8T on 567 flop against my 67 pushes KT against my AA on K35 flop.. That guy must have deposited thousands on that site allready..

[/ QUOTE ]

You sure its not zealolka or something like that? Definately z something ... ANyway, hes tight but dies crazy stuff a lot of the time and plays lots of tables. 4 bet shoved 67s on the button after I 3bet his steal with AA once. I wasnt even 3betting much!

[/ QUOTE ]
yep thats him. This dude has so many leaks post flop. At first site hes like 22/12/1.5 or something, you think you wont make much profit of him...

Top pair weak kicker is the nuts to him lol. Also hes quite predictable you can easily bluff him in certain spots.

Yeah I see what you mean. Related to this is that PokerEV cannot decide what your or your opponent's implied odds are. If I put $50 in preflop and $50 on the flop with AA, my opponent calls with 72o but the flop is 222, I would technically lose Sklansky bucks; but we all can see that it was profitable anyway.

I would define those type of hands, where you put a lot of the money in when you are beat, but where your opponent did not have enough implied odds on an earlier street, as 'semi-coolers'. PokerEV does indeed not take coolers into account, but its Sklansky bucks calculations are still correct. The point is that the Sklansky bucks do not tell everything about how you run, but PokerEV never claimed to do that anyway.

Ideally, we would have a program that could calculate g-bucks, but that's downright impossible. What I'd like to see in a future version is the option of manually 'flagging' certain hands as coolers or heaters; the money in those hands could then be added or subtracted from the sklansky bucks line, and that'll give a more accurate indication of how you run.

after running like [censored] and losing $3k on Tuesday morning, I cashed out everything I kept online on PokerStars.

So now I can only put $500 back at a time, awesome tilted decision making Eric.

So you will see me splitting time at 100nl on Stars and FTP ($500 on each!) this morning and maybe tomorrow too depending upon how gay ePassporte decides to be.

I don't know why, but the minraise here felt perfect against a 30/20/2 who plays TPTK like the nuts:

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $312.33
BB: $80.78
Hero (UTG): $139.86
CO: $100.00
BTN: $116.63

Preflop: Hero is dealt T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 Players)
Hero raises to $4.00, 2 folds, SB raises to $14.00, BB folds, Hero calls $10.00

Flop: ($29) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $15.00, Hero raises to $30.00, SB raises to $65.00, Hero raises all-in to $125.86, SB calls $60.86

Turn: ($280.72) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

River: ($280.72) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Pot Size: $280.72 ($2 Rake)

SB had A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (a pair of Aces) and LOST (-$139.86)
Hero had T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (three of a kind, Tens) and WON (+$138.86)
