meh I guess I'll stop being a nit and play 2/5 in New Orleans next week.

idk since i have like no live experience, but i think i'll find it psychologically difficult to sit with a $500 stack, much moreso than if i were sitting with that online

Sick I finally had a decent shot at 200nl. Dropped to 6 tables and just really focused. +2.5 buyins in 550 hands.. Almost rolled for 200nl so hopefully I can figure it out this time!

Random observations from the night:

-FGators is getting in a ton of big pots for better or for worse ( nice 109ss btw )

-I am playing on nitty autopilot, but caffine will change this.

That was the case for me too when I got to Vegas last month. By the end of my stay though I was fine sitting with 300 on the table(when I was playing 50nl online).

Also you can play a TAG style and do really well live, or you can play really nitty and still do pretty damn well. For a while I was playing like a gigantic nit only raising JJ+ and AQ+ and limping everything else I wanted to play. And people still pay you off or call your big PF raises and flop bets only to fold on the turn.

I just read through a few SSNL strategy threads for the first time in ages and was struck by the amount of questionable yet arrogantly offered up advice.

'lol wtf are u doing obv crai' etc etc

There is no point to this post, that is all.

Casper no I thought your posts were good.

The quality of the advice doesn't matter to me BTW - mainly just the ones that would serve it up like they were slumming from high limits and doing everyone a favour by posting, which often was far from the case.

I don't post a lot because I don't like to provide advice I'm not sure of myself, but I think I'll start up a bit more.

Flame away if you don't agree lol
