2 hands 5$ NLTRN Raise or Push
So, here I got two hands i played some minutes ago. I like sometimes to overbet (push) a in my opinion good hand to confuse my opponent. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
What do you think about these two hands? As far as I can remember they played standard poker, nothing special I could notice. Re: 2 hands 5$ NLTRN Raise or Push
hand 1 is a c/c since nothing except a Qsplit and AQ that beats you will call but many hands will bluff.
hand 2 you just wanna get your money in. b/c or c/r depending on villain |

Re: 2 hands 5$ NLTRN Raise or Push
Hand 1 might be a good spot to overbet. Any strong hand will probably tank and think "he's shown a ton of strength, he wouldn't do that with a Q would he?" and be more likely to call. You look so strong that I think two pair will check behind in hand 1 too much.
Hand 2 c/r all in is good, betting 450 is fine too, I think c/r all in is probably better in the 5s. |

Re: 2 hands 5$ NLTRN Raise or Push
Ok, i got almost the same thoughts like ChicagoRy. The only hand that can beat me is AQ, but with AQ i expect villain to raise preflop. So i got a tie with any Q but getting payed of from any other hand, villain is going to call.
Posting results is not good, right? |

Re: 2 hands 5$ NLTRN Raise or Push
You don't have to shove to overbet in hand 1. 550 is an overbet. In fact, that might be a better bet if you lead here. If we have some more reads check calling might be best, as there is a draw that missed and some villains will bet a ton in a spot like this.
