I would say bet. If he had the broadway straight he probably would have bet out or raised on the turn. I also don't think he would have played a set this passively. You will probably get paid off my AT or A2 two pair. By betting out, I also think you can get some random 57xx or 48xx or other random low to fold, enabling you to scoop rather than take half the pot. Keep in mind though, that I'm a beginner and just learning the game myself.

cgkid - Your two pairs (aces and queens) is probably the best high hand here. But you have no low and your opponent may have a poor low, leaving you with half the pot if you check. Therefore you bet, giving your opponent an opportunity to fold a poor low hand that would take away half of this pot.

By doing this you run the risk of getting check-raised. Or maybe your opponent will simply call and scoop. Thus there is a risk.

But your profit, playing in this more aggressive fashion on the river, will far exceed your loss, so that it's worth the risk.

Not many guys go for a check-raise on river, if he had broadway he would let you know already as someone mentioned before.

And if he had 345 and just rivered str-8?
This is not very likely since he would probably play a litle bit more agro such good wrap and definitly donk river.

Gotta agree with the crowd here... you probably have the high and odds are he calls with any decent low, however if he had 34 or 35 then the riv counterfeits him, so a bet gives you some fold equity.
