Changing from Value betting to bluffing mid hand
I dont have any read on villian other than he appears to be a little timid when it comes to calling large bets. I usually would just check behind on the turn but i didnt want some stupid A3 36 or 32 to catch up. Villian almost snap called on the turn making me believe that A. He didnt have a 5 and B. He probobly had a pair above the board.
Who would check behind on the river hoping to beat some kind of weak 2 pair and who bets to represent an AK AQ type hand? Also putting yourself in villians shoes, what hands can he call with here? SB: $195.00 BB: $218.05 UTG: $272.70 villian (CO): $210.50 Hero (BTN): $178.25 Preflop: Hero is dealt 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 Players) UTG folds, villian calls $2.00, Hero raises to $9.00, 2 folds, villian calls $7.00 Flop: ($21) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) villian checks, Hero bets $14.00, villian calls $14.00 Turn: ($49) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) villian checks, Hero bets $33.00, villian calls $33.00 River: ($115) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) villian checks, Hero bets all-in for $122.25 |

Re: Changing from Value betting to bluffing mid hand
its interesting,
i dont think he will call without an A or a 6 obv, your risking about 120 to win 115, he must fold more than 50 percent here to make your play even, given preflop his range contains some aces and some pockets , as well as a slowplayed 5 . i dont think hes folding too much of those here often enough. |
