how the [censored] do you install fulltilt

I've been using pokerstars, and was gonna try fulltilt but it downloads as some .php file. how do i install this.

What browser are you using? sounds like its not recognising the file type properly. Stupid question but you're not right-clicking and doing a "Save As" are you? Just left click.

Oh and look into getting rakeback before you sign up :-)

I left click on the download link and the window pops up asking to "open or save as" I've tried both and after it downloads to my desktop its named "download.php" and windows doesnt reconize it. Its really weird I download alot of [censored] and this has never happened.

I had the same problem. I e-mailed support and this was their answer.

Full
Tilt Poker software. We are aware of this and it seems to be an issue
that is affecting some of our players who use Internet Explorer.

Based on the details provided in your email, here are a few steps that
should help resolve this issue:

1) Please visit http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/download.php

2) Just above the Red "Download Now" button, there is text written
"Play
for Free Download now". Right click on the text and select "save target

as" (or "Save As").

3) a) Ensure that name of the file to be downloaded is displayed as
"FullTiltSetup" and that it is being saved as an ?Application?.

3) b) If you do not have the ?Application? selectable, please select
?All Files? and save the file as ?FullTiltSetup.exe?.

4) Change the "Save in" option to Desktop.

5) Click the "Save" button.

6) While it is downloading, please ensure that the check box "close
this
dialog box when download completes" is not checked.

7) a) When the download is completed, click "Run" to start the
installation process.

7) b) If you see the security warning window, please select "Run"
button.

This will start the Installation process. After the installation is
complete, you can delete the saved file "Fulltiltsetup.exe" on your
desktop. Please be careful and do not delete Fulltiltpoker.exe
shortcut.
