hand 1 i think turn c/r sucks. much rather prefer c/c turn c/c or c/f river, his hand range is like bluffs/sets so why raisE?

hand 2 i think ur just burning money on the turn. Hes too passive.

In both hands, the turn pairs the board, making sets less likely. Should this affect the ranges by the turn?

After the flop raise you have to slow down in #1. He either has a weaker A or your crushed.

There are no draws on the flop in #2

Board: Ah 9s 8d
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 43.117% 36.81% 06.31% 17856 3060.00 { AcKc }
Hand 1: 56.883% 50.58% 06.31% 24534 3060.00 { 99-88, AJs+, A9s-A8s, 98s, AJo+, A9o-A8o, 98o }

Plus I think ive been leniant with his range there since he is passive. Thats the ABSOLUTE best case. He may not do this with AJ and maybe AQ. So a flop fold may not be bad

Easy tun fold though

what do people think about 3betting flop in hand 1 to 50? also as played just call the turn and fold to a river bet.

I wouldn't, unless I had a read that villian overvalues weak aces, or doesn't fold. His flop min-raise represents at least an ace, we probably don't get too much value from weaker aces by 3 betting. However, if he is bluffing we get more.

OP, the first hand is fine up until the turn. The c/r is a bit spewy IMO without more of a read. The only hand I think he can call with that we beat is a stubborn AQ (or maybe AJ) if he is bad. I would prefer a c/c on the turn and a b/f on the river.

Hand 2) is probably a fold on the turn. You don't have too many hands on the guy, but he is just so damn passive.

In hand 1, his turn bet didn't make sense to me. We're 127 BBs deep and he's not trying to build a big enough pot to get all-in on the river? Doesn't look like a strong hand to me...

In hand 2 the turn overpush looked strange to me. If he just filled up, why is he trying to blow me out of the pot?

Anyways, both villians showed up with AQ.
