Don't bluff raise drawing to the idiot end of a gutshot.

Almost zero value here, so it's really a total bluff.

fold pre... as played fold ... if your trying to make a semi bluff this is a horrible spot to be in dumb end of a gut shot with a flush draw already out there ... buy in the max. and its basically is completely -EV

Reload PF. Don't open-limp, especially with 54s; raise or fold. As played, just give up when he c-bets.

Worrying about which end your two card str8 is usually dumb. Here I think it's really dumb, but ok, I agree with you'll that it was a bad spot to bluff. Looking back on this hand, I think I misread it and thought I had a double belly-buster. Not sure if that would change a raise to a call, but I'm guessing it would.

Raise or fold preflop.

There is nothing "semi" about your bluff on the flop. And to be honest, you'll probably have to run it over multiple streets for it to work.

Also, having the idiot end of the straight makes a big difference. First of all I will play 9Ts just like villain did in this hand, and even more importantly if you didn't have the ass end of this straight you would have overcards, which often gives you more outs.
