Default 100nl calling down with a small flush against a nit

Button ($233.88)
SB ($99)
Hero ($101.1)
EP ($11.5)
LP ($99)
CO ($105.7)

Villain is 17/5/0.8

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, LP calls $1, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Button calls $1, SB calls $0.5, Hero checks,

Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($4)
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $3</font>, LP raises $9, Hero calls $6, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>,

Turn: 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($22)
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">LP bets $15</font>, Hero calls $15,

River: 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($52)
Hero checks, LP checks,

Final Pot: $49.4
Results in white below:
<font color="#FFFFFF">Outcome: Hero wins $49.4

.</font>

Looking at his stats I didn't think he could have called PF with lower spades or 89, which made me believe he had either a set or bigger flush. But maybe I gave him too much credit.

Should I have raised flop or c/r turn? Given the way I played it Bet/fold river?

given the extreme nittiness of villain. i dont mind just calling the flop and turn. but after a river check, and with an unpaired board, im betting the river for sure. about $32. if youre up against a higher flush, more power to him.

Raise the turn, you do not want a higher spade hitting.
