Default Connecting my PC/laptop to my TV

I have the following

HP desktop
2 Dell Inspiron laptops
A Yamaha 5.1 receiver
A Samsung 46" TV
A DVR
A PS3
A bunch of DVDs
A problem

The problem is: Cant play my UK DVDs on my PS3, hence cant watch them on my beautiful TV. So, short of modding my PS3 it seems that the best solution is to hook one of my computers up to my TV. Probably easiest to do it with my 14" laptop? Anyway, how do I do this?

Belarc says my laptop graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS [Display adapter], I also have some thing that Dell sent that will allow me to watch Cable on my laptop once the cable company deliver a second receiver.

1. Buy a region free upconverting DVD player then you don't have to worry ab all that.

2. If not, then we need to know the exact model of your TV so we can see which inputs you have. This will let me tell you the easiest way to hook it up.

But be aware that the quality isn't going to be nearly as good coming from your PC.
