Hey guys, I just moved up from 1/2. After having played for 71 hands the following happens:
PartyPoker $400 NL Hold'em (6 handed) HandRecorder v0.9b Stacks & Stats UTG ($501.30) (23/15/14.00/17) (71h) MP ($190) SB ($549.55) BB ($422.46) CO ($401) Hero ($400) Preflop: Hero is BU with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG calls $4, 2 folds, Hero raises to $20, 2 folds, UTG raises to $65, Hero calls $45. Flop: ($136) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) UTG bets $100, Hero calls $100. Turn: ($336) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) UTG checks, Hero checks. River: ($336) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) UTG bets $235, Hero folds. Final Pot: $571. What do I do Preflop? Just fold to his weird l/r? Might've been the best solution. I'm not sure whether I'm supposed to like the flop or not. I still believe that he might run a weird bluff. If he doesn't, I'm pretty much dead. So what do I do here? Still fold? Call and hope he checks it down? Push the flop so he folds anything but a K and AA? I now believe I should've folded both PF and on the flop. Thanks guys |

I think you played this fine. Can't really see any other line.

What range do you put him on PF?

What range do you put him on PF? [/ QUOTE ] AA/KK a decent amount. JJ+/AQ+ sometimes. Random trash like 33. |

so does he have AQ/random trash often enough to make the flop call profitable? It looked like an easy call when I was playing, but I need ~30% equity here (and he might bluff the turn, although this is rather unlikely imo).
