Re: KK on BTN. I should lay this down.
I'd 4bet preflop more

Re: KK on BTN. I should lay this down.
[ QUOTE ]
Please tell me where my math or reasoning is wrong. [/ QUOTE ] I don't think you're wrong. Obviously, I called, so I was thinking along those lines. But I'm not sure I'm wrong now, either. Being right trumps the math every time. I was right and didn't follow it. To put a number on it, I'd say I was 90% certain. OTOH, if I had folded, I would be on here asking if I did the right thing and everyone would be telling me I didn't. You would probably convince me he had QQ and I threw away the best hand for better than 4 to 1. Working through it, at least it's not the disaster I had thought. Folding wouldn't have saved me much or made much of a dent in my losses for the night. Incidentally, this was only the first of 3 KK vs. AA in BSB situation coolers for the night. Oh, and a JJJ vs. KK-4-cards-to-the-flush. Just that kind of night. |

Hero calls $98.70. [/ QUOTE ] This particular part of the hand is a no-brainer call given the pot-size, villain's call preflop after your re-raise, and your big cb on the flop. No way you can lay this down for $98 more when he could easily have overcard spades or JJ-QQ. |
