We really need to know what happens after the raise to make comment on what your next action should be.

As it happens, I don't like the raise in the first place here.

I prefer to fold this to a bet and a call, however I might call hoping to see a nice card.

A raise is just so... well, it leaves you pretty well committed to the pot.

Tough spot man. I really hate these. Personally, I dont think a raise is bad, but I think it has to be more. Calling isnt bad, but almost every turn card is gonna be scary in some regard. I have to defer to those who have a longterm ROI>5 for this one.

Total spew.

Limped pot means SB could have the made straight, higher overpair, set or a bazillion draws with up to 15 outs against you. It's hard to see what he leads this flop with that he's folding to a raise.

Without a read, I think we're some way behind and fold.

Huh?

OP wants to know whether his raise was a good idea, so he cut out the action after he raised. This gets him unbiased responses based on the best line to take when you do not know how your opponents will respond. It's a very well-posted hand.

Is this a standard fold? Won't raising here commit you? Calling seems to be ok because your trying to get a cheap showdown and you have position but overcards are mostly likely to come on the turn and the river. You could fold to a big turn bet to save money. Do you raise the flop here with pocket 10's or just call?
