Any advice for someone who wants to get better at assigning ranges and learning about hand reading?
I typically hear the following suggestions. If your answers could avoid the following it would be greatly appreciated: 1. Play more 2. Pay attention to the table even when you are not in a hand 3. Put opponents on hands even when you are not in a hand Assuming that someone does all this, what is the best way to get better at estimated what ranges players play in what conditions? I guess I'm wondering if you've read something somewhere or you just have some sort of gut feel for ranges.

[/ QUOTE ] Well, honestly, my g/f has been home since the end of June and we went to California/Vegas for vacation and since she's been home I've played 11 tournaments, which consist of 4/180s and $1 and $2 large field tournaments. I'm a PXF subscriber and have watched alot of their videos. You're right, my volume is terrible and I need to pick it up, which I plan on doing next week as she is starting medical school on Monday. My BR is sitting at $375 right now. I have tried playing some 3/45 turbos today, but no luck with them. I just lost AJ < KJs to a flush and took 13th.

What's your perception of my level of thinking/play when it comes to MTTs? From your limited experience of reading my posts, any glaring spots where I need to improve?
Do you have any good advice for how to dig oneself out of a rut (i.e., I have not had a significant online cash for about 8-9 months now, and it's starting to take a toll on my confidence and bankroll)?

Why did timex not workout for you yet? If you had to switch lives for 1 month with a fellow MTTcer who would you choose Who besides Adam helped your game the most Who would look better after a bond makeover Thayer or myself.
