This is probably short term variance, eventually someone will have KK so you can get it in.

Raise him on the flop. You are ahead of too many hands.

Do not allow the villain to move ahead of you, by not raising.

lol.

anyway, often you can raise these donkbets with ATC profitably.

Also, if the board is dry and I have a set or TPTK, I often slow-play, because donkbets are usually pure bluffs on dry boards IMO. Especially if hero is CO/BTN and villain flat called from BB. A lot of donks do it as a blind defense. So if my strong hand faces a donkbet on a dry board, I typically just call down because I feel maximum value in such situations comes from inducing more bluffs on turn/river.

I think you should try to get in to a situation where the max value with nuts here is to raise. That is, they know that you know and so they expect you to raise them light already.

For crying out loud !

The donkbet is 90% of the time weakness, I have been potting donkbets for ages now and overall it has been profitable ... it is a concept I first heard about in Green Plastic nr. 31 (FTP 100NL, I think it was nr. 31, but it was for sure a 100NL FTP vid)

When someone donks, raise them !

So instead of whining that you get no action on your sets, you should be asking if you remember to raise donkbets in generel!

christ almighty, i know to raise a donk bet with ATC. that's easy. and i know that just calling on such a wet flop is sucky. but the problem i have is these donktards fold to a legitimate raise. maybe i'll minraise. the turn will not complete a draw most of the time and i get it in on the turn when pot is bigger. i don't know. i just want some more of their money and raising roughly pot on the flop is not getting it. and this has been going on for a large sample size.

Holy Mackerel ... if you know to raise donks with ATC, how can you complain that you are taking it down, when you raise with ATC (that just happened to have hit a set)

Stop wanting to have the cake and eat it too ..
