Default NL200 Trip Aces vs action.

villian is solid TAG like 19/15...I havent been too active at the table...I have no reason to believe he might be bluffing.

I like this line plenty. Just calling the turn allows him to shove a weaker A and occasionally a bluff....I don't think I ever fold this...not quite sure why you posted it, except that you were beat.

This is a tough one. Villain is "a solid TAG (19/15)", we raised utg and he called us in position. He certainly is not value betting the river with A9 or worse. He might do it with AJ/AQ, figuring that you would play a better ace harder, but this really reeks of a boat. I think AKo is a pretty likely hand for villain.

Here's a little range for villain:
Board: 8c Ah Td As Ks
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 28.571% 28.57% 00.00% 8 0.00 { AQs }
Hand 1: 71.429% 71.43% 00.00% 20 0.00 { TT, 88, AKs, AJs-ATs, A8s, AKo, AJo }

We are about 28.5% dog vs that (tight) range. If we add some bluffs and maybey a few times he value bets hard with a worse ace, I guess this approaches 30%-33% (we need 33%+ for it to be breakeven). I'm on the fence.

This has to be a fold on the river, dont really see what you beat...you have to be putting villain on precisely AJ to call here, no way do you see A9 A7- often enough. Not a nice spot but it happens!

Agreed c/c turn is mandatory, as is c/c river without a K showing.

What difference does it make that a king is showing?

You don't think that leading out would make it an easier c/f on the river if he calls behind?
I think it drastically narrows the range with which he bets river, no?
