Ok, so I didn't 5bet/shove because I figure it lets him off the hook with AK, QQ etc and I can stack him on the flop. Thoughts?

If you think it is possible he has AK you can justify a shove. If AK isn't a part of his range then fold. AK seems pretty unlikely to me since you have two aces IMO.

AK - 6 combinations
AA - 1 combination
KK, QQ, JJ - 3 combinations each = 9
TT - 6 combinations

I personally think TT is fairly unlikely here. Of the remaining hands, you are losing to 9, tied with 1, and beating 6. The 6 AK combinations have 4 outs to tie and 2 to win. I think this is a fold. Having said that, push pre-flop is my play, but I play NL10.

Shove preflop!!! He 3-bets you, so he will not fold very often. And if he folds, well its a 61$ pot.

No need to get tricky. Just shove pre-flop.

As played, I probably shove anyway.

in 4bet pots with 100bb, every flop with AA is an awesome flop.

I think just calling preflop is fine, but so is shoving. I lean towards shoving preflop as I think most villains will call anyways.

When he 4-bets you preflop I am thinking he is mostly on a big pair range with maybe AK in there. Given that, you are mostly behind on the flop. You do have 6 outs and some small chance of being ahead so I don't think you should be folding. If you call here though you are going to be calling the turn as well since you will be getting 4:1 on a call when you are at works a 6.5:1 dog and are still ahead sometimes. I don't see a point in raising the flop though, you aren't getting a better hand to fold ever and AK is a small part of his range so you will mostly be putting all of your money in as a dog.
