Auto insurance question
Simple questions:
1. My friend is a licensed driver but has no car and naturally no car insurance. If I allow him to drive my car, does my insurance cover that? 2. If he crashes the car, how will it affect my insurance in the future? How about his insurance, should he ever buy it? |

Re: Auto insurance question
yes your insurance will cover it.
it will effect your insurance in a negative manner, just as though you wrecked it. if he is to be a primary driver of the vehicle it is best to add him to the policy and what not. if he is just borrowing it for the weekend then obv. that is not applicable. he obv. can buy insurance for something he doesn't own. was that the last question? |

Re: Auto insurance question
My insurance company has phones, I suspect this is standard. If you have a phone you could probably call them on their phone.

If you had to guess, and assuming I'm being totally forthcoming with my insurer, where would you guess is the cutoff for the friend's usage before he should be added as a driver on the policy? |

Re: Auto insurance question
call your insurance company and ask them, retard. if you are worried about them f'ing with your policy you don't give them your name. *
