Default UTG: AKs, QQ on flop. Did I minimize my losses?

I'm trying to look at every hand where I lost more than 10BB. I think this was okay, but I'd like a check.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (9 handed) internettexasholdem.com

SB ($152.95)
BB ($190.05)
Hero ($189.70)
UTG+1 ($40.90)
MP1 ($222.75)
MP2 ($25.15)
MP3 ($80.70)
CO ($255.35)
Button ($200.85)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $6</font>, UTG+1 calls $6, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP3 calls $6, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>.

Flop: ($21) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $20</font>, UTG+1 folds, MP3 calls $20.

Turn: ($61) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP3 bets $16</font>, Hero calls $16.

River: ($93) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP3 bets $38.7 (All-In)</font>, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $131.70

Flop bet is way too big. Turn/river fine.

Edit: its full ring, I havent got a clue about FR. Maybe check flop?

going to the flop 3 ways, i'm checking.

if you bet, i think you have to fire a 2nd barrel since no one is folding a pair on the flop w/the top card paired.

Good catch. I hadn't noticed that. There's not much to draw to, so the pot bet isn't necessary.

I didn't realize this wasn't for full ring. Is this just 6max? Seems weird to have the main forums for a non-standard format.

Really? I hate shorthanded play. I play pretty laggy, so it doesn't help me to have everyone loosening up. I prefer docile full-ring.
