i dont know why but poker always has a way of punishing those that should probably fold........even if u have the best hand.
explanation: yur hand isnt exactly that strong, you dont have much invested versus the pot size, most of the time you'll be up against a strong draw or a better hand. i know i sure as hell have open pushed sets and top 2 pair to make it look like a donk play. with that being said, would u be a winner in the long run making calls in these spots? i wouldnt be surprised if the answer is no or maybe its slight +ev. either way, it doesnt sound very good. i'm not saying u did anything wrong. i'm just merely making light of how the game of poker has a strange way of punishing people when maybe they should fold, espeacially when yur not heavily invested. of course in this particualr spot, its a call all day long. totally sick beat. odds anyone?
