Did you people complain that the plot never progressed in Seinfeld or Cheers too? ITS A COMEDY!!!!!!!! Plot is mostly irrelevant in a comedy.

This is dumb,
(1) it's a different kind of show
(2) when Seinfeld (didn't watch Cheers)set up stuff like Entourage is setting up they did a better job of working with it than Entourage is. We've been teased about Medillion for while and either it's addressed in a boring, repetitive way or it's not addressed at all, neither of which is satisfying. Contrast this with the Jerry/George make 'Jerry' for NBC arc on Seinfeld and see that Seinfeld actually did it way, way better which is especially embarrassing give that, as per (1), Seinfeld was working outside it's element while doing so where Entourage is not.
