When going over very large session (General)
Say you're reviewing your last session before logging another session or whatnot, and you have 2k-5k hands logged that session; what sort of criteria are you looking for when you're looking at which hands you want to go over (play them back, play with ranges and and calculate your equity in PokerStove etc.)? I'm finding that's becoming a difficult part when trying to review my large sessions so any tips of what you guys are doing would be great.

Don't think I'm telling you anything you probably already don't do, but myself, I just go to the game notes tab, get all hands. Then organize by Net and review all the big pots I lost, making notes on each hand and the way I should have played it given reads and the situation.

i also go by pot size. reviewing tons of small pots that you fold or check/fold from the blinds would be so time consuming. i review all big pots won and all big pots lost. make notes, determine whether or not i think i played well, etc.

Re: When going over very large session (General)
I do this at least once a week, usually after every 2k hands.

[/ QUOTE ] Thats a pretty good thread, but it is more geared towards finding leaks via poker tracker. As far as reviewing sessions is concerned, I prefer this little gem: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...&PHPSESSID= |
