the announcer said that it was a cool million so it was.

Now i'm supposed to assume that b/c you are saying it's not a cool million that it's not?

So yeah he bought in with a cool million.

[/ QUOTE ]

If Gabe had said it was a cool million, then it would have been cool. Gabe knows a lot about the coolness of millions. He's probably lost a couple of his own over the years.

aj benza though? any kind of million would give him a stiffy, so how can he be expected to differentiate when he's thinking with his dick?

If playing 10/20 NL means you're busto I think the majority of 2+2 would love to be busto.

[/ QUOTE ]

Sign me up for the busto list then. Do people not understand the meaning of busto on this forum.

[/ QUOTE ]

I may be mistaken, but I believe "busto" is a derivation of "bust", which is a slang term meaning that one lacks money.

not only was Brad playing 5/10 last week, but he sat at a open FR table where I was sitting alone(FR tables = weaker play).

I of course played him hu for a bit, and made fun of him for being completely busto. I mean how could you still play poker, when you've fallen THAT far

But he bought in for that cool looking million dollars on high stakes poker. I guess he thought it was cool, just looked like a buffoon to me. Then he made a big bluff one hand then sat there the rest of the time.

"How can this be?"

OPM, baby, OPM...just think of how many millions of Cirque du Soleil $ he dumped into the poker economy for his backer, GL.

I have even more respect for Booth since he moved down. Imagine you were a televised pro and had to move down from NL20k to NL1k. It takes a lot of courage to do that but you gotta do it when BRM requires.

Well that is a good question though. Maybe he's got huge markers on him and he has NO CHOICE but to grind @5/10. Maybe he lost all of his money going allin with 24o for $300K to win a $50K pot. How many times do you need to be right on that move for it to be profitable?

Booth was a ticking time bomb. He looked like a tool on the WPT with his incessant floating and raising with air. He blew it there.

You don't win at poker trying to outbluff your opponents on a regular basis. Player who do that are referred too as maniacs/donks, for a lack of better terms.
